What’s New on the MUD XR Platform: October and November 2025 Update
Over the past two months, we’ve introduced new features that make immersive creation, events, and audience engagement more dynamic. These updates are designed to equip you with powerful tools to share, measure, and scale your impact in the metaverse.
This post outlines what’s changed, and more importantly, what you can now do with these new tools.
Community and Private Verses
Users can now access Community Verses for open, public engagement, or keep things exclusive with Private Verses, perfect for small groups, tours, or invite-only experiences.
The Activations App for Events
We’ve launched the new Activations App, designed specifically for hosting XR activations at events, exhibitions, and live showcases. From setup to real-time management, the app streamlines the event flow and enhances audience participation—making immersive activations easier to scale and share.
Analytics for Verses and Activations
Understand your audience with the new built-in analytics. You can now track engagement metrics, interaction data, and performance insights across both published Verses and live Activations. These tools help creators, educators, and organizers measure impact and improve their immersive experiences.
Template Management for MaaS Owners
The new Templates dashboard empowers owners and educators to standardize immersive experiences across their teams.
Create reusable templates for exhibitions, classrooms, or events, and quickly deploy them with just one click. You can edit, synchronize, or unpublish templates anytime.
Global Settings and Analytics for MaaS Owners
The new Global Settings panel lets MaaS Owners define branding, publishing preferences, and mission details—all visible across every activation and Verse.
Easily manage organization info, web and social links, and publishing permissions for your teams.
Landing Page Management for MaaS Owners
The Landings section now provides full visibility into every activation’s public page. You can preview, edit, download, or archive landing pages directly within the dashboard, and publish them instantly to share with your audience.
The Archive App
Introducing the Archive App, XRHub’s built-in repository for storing, organizing, and visualizing all your creative assets—artworks, 3D models, videos, and documents—into one accessible repository across XR Dashboard, Creator Studio, and the Metaverse.
Each upload automatically syncs across platforms and includes detailed metadata for provenance, artist info, and dimensions, making your work easier to manage and authenticate.
The Archive also supports AR previews, letting you view assets instantly via shareable links or QR codes. Choose between File, Digital Art, and Digital Twin Art categories to organize and present your creations with precision.
- File – for general media and 3D assets
- Digital Art – for original artistic works with creative and legal metadata
- Digital Twin Art – for digital representations of physical artworks, including dimensional and digitization details
