Rodolfo Peraza

Bio

Rodolfo Peraza is a Cuban-born, U.S.-based artist whose work centers on technology and its relationship to public space, both virtual and physical. His practice focuses on extended reality (XR) and data visualization. In 2017, he founded the MUD Foundation Inc. in Miami, an organization dedicated to supporting tech-centered arts programs and reducing barriers to access to immersive technology in the arts and education.

Peraza’s work has been widely exhibited, including presentations at SIGGRAPH in Los Angeles and the Pérez Art Museum Miami. His art is held in the permanent collections of the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) in Canada and the JUMEX Collection in Mexico. He was the recipient of the Cannonball WaveMaker Grant and the Knight Arts + Tech Fellowship in 2021. (editado)

Im a XR and internet-focused artist, using the internet and immersive interfaces as a medium. My work explores the social and power dynamics between digital and physical realms.
